Nintendo PowerThe most stunning part of the game is the way that it seamlessly mixes footage from the films with scenes and dialogue developed for the game. [Feb2003, p.152]
-
Game InformerA bluebrint on how to make a very good movie-based game. [Jan 2003, p.99]
-
The Two Towers the movie absolutely blew my mind. I sat in awe throughout most of the movie. EA has managed to recreate that feeling with their game. There truly is a feeling of being in the middle of an epic adventure, up against insurmountable odds, and yet pulling it off.
-
There's just something about slashing through a room full of Orcs or lighting Nazgûl on fire.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyI've never played a movie-based game that stays so true to its source material. [Feb 2003, p.147]
-
The action is relentless, the style is dark, and everything about it reeks of the newly released films that they're based upon.
-
Fans of the films will definitely want to pick this one up, but those who enjoy action games in general will also find a lot to like about it, in spite of the game's short length.
-
Not only do Orcs beg to be slashed again and again, but the combat system is so entertaining that you won't even care about the repetition. The Two Towers is not without frustration (just wait till you get to level 10...ugh!), but it's not without fun either.
-
Not a game that will likely impress most dedicated gamers, except in the capacity that it is a movie-licensed game that doesnt suck.
-
Cheat Code CentralLooks great and runs smoothly. It's superior to the PS2 version in terms of cleaner graphics.
-
The worst part of all is the shocking lack of a multiplayer mode, and this is one of the main reasons why it doesnt get a higher score. Still, jolly good fun for a while!
-
Supplies a reasonably thrilling interpretation of the more vicious portions of the movie without all the clutter of the "boring bits" of the epic quest itself.
-
With graphics prettier than Arwen and gameplay shorter than Bilbo Baggins, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers ends up a mixed bag.

Nov 15, 2022Juego muy entretenido, sobre todo para los fans de la saga. Eso sí, jugándolo a día de hoy sí que me parece que no ha envejecido muy bien.
