In the end, if you are a fan of the characters, the game has enough to keep you entertained for at least one run through.
-
The game is a mindless, simplistic punching bag that will either be music to your eyes, ears and thumbs or a crushing disappointment for those looking for more depth.
-
Teen Titans is right on the money as a budget brawler for the waning GameCube.
-
Teen Titans the game makes good use of the license to spice up what is otherwise a very average beat-'em-up.
-
Play MagazineEnemy bots explode in a single chunk of shrapnel, the collision is sloppy, the action is mostly repetitive and there's no sign of the WB animation. [Mar 2006, p.44]
-
AceGamezTeen Titans isn't as inspired as many will hope, and even with the added multiplayer support doesn't end up being much more than a quick Teen Titans videogame tie-in for the masses to consume.
-
It's not terrible by any means, but there's a good chance seasoned gamers simply won't find much to keep their attention. As a title aimed at kids, though, it's not half bad.
-
Nintendo PowerTeen Titans is not a lousy game--the play is responsive and the graphics are excellent--but it deserves to be more than a TMNT clone with Titans likenesses and environments slapped onto it. [Jun 2006, p.85]
-
It does provide some good action and has plenty of engaging multiplayer to keep you busy throughout the summer. But one can't help but think a little more effort would've been nice to capture some of the manic energy that made the show such a success.
-
Overall it is a solid game, but nothing special. It will keep you entertained for a few hours, but after that you will move on to other games.
-
Teen Titans is a short and unspectacular diversion for an audience that might be too young for more mature fare, and the price is certainly right, but those more discerning with their beat 'em-up dollars should hunt super-villains elsewhere.

Jan 21, 2022A middle-quality beat 'em up with an interesting realisation. Very bad, that this game - the only that was released on big platforms of that time.
