It captures the animated series to a tee and sports the love and care that all of us hope to see heaped on a port that originally appeared on another system (in this case, the PS2).
  2. 65
It's a bit rough to look at visually, and the gameplay is borderline boring throughout most of the levels packed onto the disc.
  3. Game Informer
    65
The gameplay itself isn't terrible, but it still assigns way too many functions to the A button. [May 2003, p.87]
  4. Nintendo Power
    64
The controls are touchy and the environments seem small when Superman is flying, but the overall experience is tons of fun. [May 2003, p.138]
  5. Just an average action game. Even if some of the technical problems had been resolved before the game was finished, that wouldn't have made the majority of the missions in the game less boring. The game is also quite short.
  6. 60
The fighting in the game is basic, a little humdrum, and hardly inspired. Graphically, it's nothing special.
  7. Vastly better than "Superman 64," but it's still only mediocre in a genre of games that still struggle to be good games while recapturing their subject matter well.
