The worst offender is shot fakes that turn into accidental shots. This happened to me 3 or 4 times a game deadly when the score is close.
-
Cheat Code CentralAside from some improved graphics and the addition of Dolby Pro Logic II, the wait was in vain.
-
Frankly the music in SH sucks.
-
Unlike EA's game, Street Hoops is shallow and incredibly dull.
-
Suffers almost out of the gate by a lack of game modes and the ridiculously tough AI.
-
Unoriginality is acceptable every now and then if the gameplay is as good as the title that "inspired" it. However, Hoops not only copies other games, but it plays slower then them, too.
-
At its core, Street Hoops is a weak playground simulator with a little basketball thrown in on the side.
-
Nintendo PowerA more realistic approach to organized community-court basketball than "NBA Street." [Jan 2003, p.172]
-
You'd be much better off saving some of your hard-earned cash for that tattoo you've been wanting, the diamond-stud earring at your local pawn shop, or the superior GameCube title Street Hoops wants so badly to be.
