    I can't tell you how exciting it is to see a well-crafted console game for children that is designed to be easy to play, but at the same time offers enough variety, levels and challenges to never be boring.

    Controls are great! The platforming is very good for the Playstation 2 and the Gamecube. The graphics are actually really good! The soundControls are great!     This game is a great example of why you can't trust many big highly regarded reviewers. I was on the SpongeBob hate bandwagon years ago too before I played this incredible game. I even gave the show a chance because this game impressed me so much and it's the only still running child intended cartoon I love! there's a reason why the show is loved by so many. It's platforming is even better than Mario Galaxy's but it has such a lower rating just because it's not Mario! It's open world not linear like Mario galaxy more like Mario Sunshine's open world but bigger but still has the great platforming of galaxy's. It's a very forgiving game but that's not to say it's too easy! It's just perfect! Sometimes hard in a good way. Unfortunately though no other Spongebob game is anywhere near as good as this or has as open of a world all the others are more linear. Revenge Of The Flying Dutchman and The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie Games are the only other decent ones they don't come even close to how great this game is. The music is also some of the best I've ever heard may sound unbelievable but its better than any 3Ds Mario games exciting to very chill almost perfect all around. You can also fast travel anywhere in the massive game at any time and it loads very quickly. I could go on but just play it! I promise you'll be shocked in amazement by the end of the 1st level.… Expand

Don't turn your back on this game just because it's a Spongebob game, for this is actually (at least IMO) a quality platformer, even for a game based off a TV show! This film feels a lot like what a Spongebob game should be, for it was very close to it's source material and it had a lot of references to episodes of the show. The gameplay is fun, the locations are fun and it can be humorous, even if the jokes are probably more funny for kids. There are a few flaws here and there of course, but SS:BFBB is still fun to play and highly enjoyable.… Expand
