Nintendo PowerWorth the price of admission for "Sonic CD" alone. [Sept 2005, p.85]
-
Play MagazineAn excellent classics compilation, due mostly to "Sonic CD," finally revived after so much begging. [Sept 2005, p.57]

"Sonic CD" and both "Vectorman" games alone make paying the $30 price an extremely easy decision. With those three brilliant titles in hand, the remaining eight can basically be treated as bonus additions to mess around with.
-
I can do without some of the Game Gear games in the collection, but to have Sonic CD once again just makes it worth having.
-
Offering the proverbial something for everyone, Not only does it give Cube owners (and PS2 owners, if you get the PS2 version) the chance to get to grips with some of the lesser known, but ultimately brilliant Sonic games of yesteryear (which are still great now), but also give the long suffering Sega masses the chance to finally play Sonic the Fighters on a home console.
-
A decent compilation, even though it's not as solid as Sonic Mega Collection. At a bargain price of 29 bucks, however, "Sonic CD" and "Vectorman 1" and "2" make for a worthy purchase for fans or anyone who may have missed them the first time around.
-
Sonic CD alone would be a good reason to own this collection. If Mega Collection has left you hungry for more Sonic, Gems Collection has got everything else between it and Sonic Adventure DX. Sonic Gems Collection completes the continuum of Sonic history available for GC.
