Fans of the cartoons will be happy to know that the game contains everything from the originals, including voices and bad jokes.

There's much less action or platforming and it's all about solving the puzzles on your own time.

For Scooby Doo fans, this is the best made game based on the license by a long shot. Though the gameplay itself is relatively simple and boring at times, the interesting storyline and episode-like game progression is pure bliss for Scooby fanatics.

From the cheesy plot and dialogue, to the levels that are set out as individual episodes of the show, even the constant snacking - it's all in there.

My enjoyment quickly turned into boredom as I restarted at a certain save point over and over again, due to my "scare" power meter running out every time a ghost ran over me after escaping from my attempted Tome catching.

An excellent game for little kids but wont provide much excitement for others. The gameplay is very simplified, and the action gets repetitive quickly.

AceGamezIt represents the cartoon remarkably well and with excellent authenticity. However, behind all the gloss and polish lurks the shadow of a game that shows little novelty in today's already swamped third person action adventure market.

Fans of the cartoon will probably enjoy this short romp with Mystery Inc. as will young children. Cynical adults and those with a distinct aversion to laugh tracks should stay far away.

The authenticity lends a certain charm to the title that almost makes you want to play it, but then you realize how unexciting the actual game is. Fetch quests have never been a successful way to captivate audiences.

Scooby Doo: Mystery Mayhem might be enjoyable for a young audience who expects little as far as challenge. I would expect however that even they would lose interest quickly.
