This game is definitely not the best, but it is not as bad as some would be lead to believe. I played the DS version, which added little to a fairly good game, and that was the main criticism, but I simply see it as the same experience on a different platform. This is an average game that you can pick up for cheap, so if you want to play it, pick it up used. An amazing video game!
even though it is a game for publicity for the movie, it is made with love for gamers

The levels are well designed with bright, colourful graphics throughout, making the game seem almost like the film, and with so many personalities to talk to there's never a dull moment.

With clever puzzles, lots of fun gizmos and in-game artwork that looks almost as good as between-level movie clips, the game represents the film well and provides an entertaining play experience. [Apr 2005, p.100]
  3. The sad fact is that Robots tries to draw you into a terrible game by way of a pretty package.
