    Great gameplay, fun and replayable. The antagonists have charisma, and are memorable characters. No matter how much time passes, we continue to enjoy re4 on different systems. 10/10

    RE4 is rightfully called one of the best games of all time - it's simply stunning to witness. It's excellent pacing, enemy and weapon design and music are incredible, and sometimes it's hard to believe that this level of polish was even possible over 15 years ago, with how Resident Evil 4 tramps even a lot of modern third-person shooters and horrors. It's rarely than you can just say -RE4 is rightfully called one of the best games of all time - it's simply stunning to witness.     most addicting game I have ever played in my entire life. I absolutely LOVE this game, and I really hope one day they remaster it. I would love to play it on PS5. Best game of all time imo

    It was one of the first games I've got after the GameCube purchase, but it took me a while to play it. The game starts really weird, compared to its predecessors, mainly for the reduced horror feeling. It's still there though, but the game focuses more in the action sections. For the franchise, it was the beginning of a distortion in the franchise (which paved the way to RE6).     RE4 has changed the gaming landscape forever. It was a such a blast to go through. I finished this game so many times than I can count. I love the change it brought to the series even tho it's a departure from the much beloved RE formula. But it was a revolution that was bigger than the RE franchise itself and I appreciate it for it. Shinji Mikami rules!

    Everything involving the gameplay is outstanding and timeless. However some might think the inventory pause breaks immersions but I don’t think it does. In DOOM Eternal with its break neck speed; slows down time when the weapon wheel is open. This let’s you think over whatever situation your in. The only Flaw with Resident Evil 4 is that the story isn’t all that original with lots ofEverything involving the gameplay is outstanding and timeless.     Historically this is a 10 / 10. I think it must have blown everyones minds back then. Today its still very good. The latter half of the game is weaker and the puzzles are kinda weak for RE. Otherwise very solid. Play it on an emulator and scale it up. Looks pretty good.

Stunning visuals, campy and fun plot, awesome characters, epic music, and incredible gameplay. The powerful weapons, the awesome gore effects, the brutal roundhouse kicks and bone crunching suplexes. It has great everything, some of the best voice acting I've ever heard, the most satisfying gameplay I've seen in years, a great story, amazing characters, good controls once you get used to them. Not nearly as scary as I thought it would be, but this isn't a horror - action game, this is an action/adventure game. Insanely goodI can't explain exactly what makes this game so, so special. Leon being center stage was great. However, it does have the MOST annoying person every in the series and that is freaking Ashley Graham. Having to protect her and/or wait for her was and still is painful to even think about to this day. If, and when, they remake RE4, I really freaking hope they change that aspect. Also, for better or for worse, it also gave us the most annoying antagonist to date in the series in that little pipsqueek, Ramon Salazar.     If the first third of the game would be the whole game, I would rate it 10 out of 10.
    In the first third this game makes all right what it can do make right at all and this in a perfect way for that time. However the price is, that this game lost its momentum that longer it gets. The castle, second third of the game, is more a tribute for the first resident evil and this disturbs the modern resident evil in its room to develope an own unique atmosphere here. The last third is my least favourite and only the fight against the Los Regenerados create the unique and special atmosphere that have filled the beginning of the game. The other parts on the millitary island are plaining action parts. The El Gigante, a huge big and intense fight at first is later simply overused and annoying. The last boss is ridiculous designed and weak in comparison with Krauser or the fight against "It". The variety of Weapons and the diffrent ways how you can play this game, give it a high replay value. Furthermore the objects you can interact with and use for your advantage give the gameplay the finishing touch.
    Ashley is a specail case here. Yes it is true that she is not so horrible as other reviewers say.
    But it is undoubtatly so, that the game would be better, if Ashley wasn't part of the gameplay.
    All in all could this a masterpiece be if the game would not run out of breath at the end.    … Expand

Los tiempos de carga son cortos, los gráficos son excelentes, los fps son estables, la IA no da pena, la dificultad dinámica está bien (a exepción de puntos como 'El salón de Agua' o 'El salón de la grúa' donde el pico de dificultad aumenta descomunalmente), la banda sonora está mejor que en ps2.

    Sin duda, la mejor versión de RE4, 100% recomendado. Pienso que no    Este sí es el mejor RE4. Enseguida entras en la historia y la intriga que hay detrás del juego. Especial mención al doblaje "castellano" de "España", menudas risas. Creo que todos los españoles que lo jugamos coincidimos.     Indiscutiblemente obra maestra. El que niega lo bueno de este juego, probablemente es un boomer que se quedó en el pasado. Si no te gusta por el juego en sí, sin cosas de "El principio del fin", "No es Survival Horror", etc. Es respetable. RE4 no necesita ser Survival Horror para ser uno de los mejores videojuegos de la historia.

    This game was by far one of the best gamecube games i have played, I just recently picked up a gamecube and since i have loved almost every resident evil i decided to play through number 4 as well, to my surprise it was different and totally new and original. The boss fights were alot of fun and the extras after you beat the game are alot of fun as well, mercenaries mode was so annoying due to the fact that they keep coming, if you blink you get your head chopped off by chainsaw hags lol hehe. Of course like any other game there are graphical flaws, only minor and nothing to worry about but i did notice them, kinda funny actually. I sure hope capcom brings out a new resident evil soon or in the not to far distant future with the same gameplay elements and a brandnew story line of course that deals with leon again saving something from someone or a co-op mode for increased fun and playability lol… Expand

    This game kicks vombie-creature-BUTT!!! It's the best console game out and it rocks! Seriously, the reply value is incredible. You can beat the game over and over and it never gets boring. You just have a blast pumping 100s of rounds into those....well...creatures. It's just a heck of a riot! BUY THIS GAME...it's the most fun you'll have on any console!

    This game is the best resident evil ever. I don't think that there was one bad thing in it. I have to say this is the best horror/adventure game ever made. I think that it beats Halo 1 and 2. Nothing has ever been made so nice and beautiful as this. Thank you capcom for making such an adicting and wonderful game.

    Quite astounding, and almost certainly the best game on GameCube. A non-stop thrill ride of epic proportions. A giant stride forwards for the survival-horror genre, and probably the best reinvention of an existing franchise ever seen. Up there with Halo and San Andreas as one of the defining moments of the current generation of consoles. Do not miss.

Leon S Kennedy is sent to Europe (somewhere in Spain), to rescue the president's daughter Ashley Gharam. In event, the villagers are acting strange. There are suprising characters. The return of Ada Wong, Krauser, Wesker... The game nearly takes 20 hours in your first round. After completing the game, you'll unlock two modes. Assignment Ada and The Merceneries.     I think this is the most realisic Resident Evil game yet. It has all new features that many RE players have been wanting since the first one. The Story mode and the game interaction of the game itself is unbelieveable. The different ways your enemys manipulate and dodge bullets and other weapons makes RE4 that much more of the game we've been waiting for. Arguably the best game ever made.

    Best Resident Evil ever. With the new targeting it makes killing the zombies (well, they are not zombies) fun. The gameplay is 10 times funner and the game is not slow. You'll want to beat it in one seating. This is a must have.

    Definitely top 3 best games I have ever played. Everything is great, the control, the graphics, the gameplay. Best game since Ocarina of Time, if not even better than that.

    Very cool, it stessed the hell out of me, I love the chainsaw guy in the beggining.I think there was no need to make it this bloody because some of the images are just nasty. But still in a way the blood adds a little more horror to the game. If you think this game sucks I think you need to see a doctor.     The this game was so amazing, the characters, the weapons, the levels, the bosses, and the items were all perfect, This is the best game of 2005, and even all time.

    This is the best RE game i have played. I think all the changes made are for the best and hope there are future RE games that follow this game in every aspect.

    The graphics and cut-scenes are amazingly polished, and helps create a spooky atmosphere. Beter than Halo or GTA, and is fighting for Best Gamecube Game along with Metroid Prime!

    This is the best game on the Gamecube BAR NONE, nothing is as overall spectacular as this game has proven to be. Way to go Capcom!

I had heard an awful lot about RE4, but was wary about spending $40 for a new copy of a game that's a year old. Thank god it came out at $20 last week.     If I could I would give this game a 20. This is my favorite game ever made. I didn't really care much for the old Resident Evil games but this one is great. I wish that there was a co-op mode though, my friend and I are always looking for fun multiplayers on the Game Cube.     Seriously, a masterpiece. I have the admit the storyline is not the best thing about this game (rescuing the president's daughter?) but the gameplay and the graphics are awesome. The main character Leon Kennedy is unarguably one the best protagonists in video games, alongside with Master Chief and Link.     RE4 the best in its siris.Capcom really did it out with this one. I am really the biggest fan of resident evil. resident evil will live on. (like michal jackson did) go resident evil and go capcom!

    Me and my friend just played this for 6.5 straight hours, and i can say right now that it has more scares in that amount of time than any game i have ever played. This is without question one of the best games ever.

    This game is an amazing experience that all gamers should enjoy. It is the best Resident Evil to date. All the problems with the franchise have been fixed: no more horrid camera angles, no more ridiculous controls, and the environments are fully rendered. This is the best game since The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and is arguably as good as Halo 2.

    Finally a developer uses the full potential of the GC. I don't have the platitudes to praise this game enough. It is perfect. You will want to hit pause and bring people in off the street to show them this amazing cutscene or that in-engine accomplishment.     Not only does this game wow technically and fix many preexisting RE faults, but it still retains many aspects of RE we know and love and is more frightening/entertaining than any recent horror movie. I haven't played a videogame till the early morning hours (4 am) in a LONG time, but RE4 is just that damn good.

    There are not words within my heart of hearts to describe the genius of this game. Please, for the love of God buy this. Best game on the Gamecube. Actually competes with Half-Life 2 for best game ever struck on disc.
