The formula was never that good to begin with, and shiny new graphics, tons of new monsters, and a host of unlockable moves simply cannot hide the fact that Rampage, no matter the generation, is a bore.
-
Unfortunately, where World Tour improved on its predecessor in every way, Total Destruction fails to recapture any of the fun of its arcade ancestors.
-
The game's best feature is its inclusion of the twenty year-old version of Rampage, which is actually smarter, deeper, and just plain better than Total Destruction. That's sad. Flee in terror.
