This game was terrifying. The natives were scary and so were the giant bats and don't even get me started on the giant millipedes! This is the first FPS game I've ever played. The music was great and playing as Kong was very fun, especially in New York City.

  1. It's simply good fun from beginning to end - like an unexpectedly violent Disneyland ride.

This dazzling, determinedly populist experience was not made according to the standards other games are made by, and when judged – or even just described – by those standards, it might seem slender to the point of frailty. [Christmas 2005, p.101]
  3. The graphics and sound are utterly superb, providing a huge level of atmosphere.
