With loose but logical controls, humorous gameplay, and more ways to stroke than Ill stop the punch line right there, there are kids reading.
-
There are so many enjoyable little quirks and options that it should come as no surprise when I say that this game is worth your purchase price.
-
Despite its range of lewd caricatures, Outlaw Golf is actually less outrageous than we'd hoped for, but then again - that's golf.
-
Although the characters are an eclectic collection of freaks, strippers and malcontents, looks are deceiving this is a hardcore golf game.
-
Game InformerJust as good on this system as it is on the Xbox. [Dec 2002, p.130]
-
Nintendo PowerThe insults and mulligans are rapid-fire. [Dec 2002, p.214]
-
Funny and challenging... Unfortunately, there are a couple of flaws that can quickly turn into more of an annoyance than it may be worth for some, and no more than three courses to play on.
-
An average golf game featuring some new stuff as well as your typical golfing action. However, the character design and sense of humor showcased in this one sets it apart from the rest.
-
A deceptive game, because while its theme suggests fast-paced arcade-style golf, the actual gameplay really isn't like that at all.
-
This isn't a bad pick-up if you want a game with humor and girls with undulating bodies, but if you're looking for a great golf game to last you a few months, this is one to walk away from.
-
Chances are that players anticipating a wacky brand of golf are going to be frustrated by the precision-based swinging, while die-hard golf addicts will be put off by the silly elements.
-
Play MagazineWhile I really like beating the crap out of my caddy (girl on girl never looked so good), I wish the interface had a few more nuances and a more comphrehensive putting mechanism. [Jan 2003, p.78]
-
It's a golf game with strippers, but its gameplay won't be getting a huge tip.
-
Neither the graphics nor the sound is going to set the world on fire, but Ive certainly seen and heard worse. The bottom line is that if youve got a jones for GameCube golf, there are better titles out there.
