Jul 23, 2019For me? Simply the best game ever created. its a shame nintendo dont bring a switch version.
-
Jun 25, 2019A game whit an incredibly atmosphere and a little bit creepy ambientation, this New game from samus results in a turnover from the Nintendo games, in less words a masterpiece
-
Mar 9, 2019This is certainly one of the best games I've ever played. I didn't play it when it came out and only played it recently. I think it is the second best game on the GameCube (second only to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker). My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that I thought Samus moved a little too slowly.

Mar 9, 2019I really like Metroid Prime. The graphics and design are excellent, the controls and gameplay are awesome, the soundtrack is very good, and the boss battles and sub-boss battles are classic. Even though Metroid Prime is a first-person shooter, it still have the adventure elements that is associated with the Metroid series

Oct 30, 2018Toda la magia de super metroid ejecutada magistralmente en 3D. Un juego imprescindible. La segunda y tercera entrega me parecen mas flojas. Eso si, super metroid sigue siendo el mejor de la saga

Sep 18, 2018It's not a bad game, although personally I've never really liked the Metroid.
-
Jul 8, 2018A great game that can get on your nerves because of the awful, awful control and plataforming
-
May 10, 2018one of the most realised and complete worlds in any game, ever. Outstanding graphics, music, gameplay and atmosphere
-
Apr 20, 2018Congratulations to Retro Studios for this atmospheric masterpiece. Phenomenal combination of environment-music.
Some bosses were a bit hard but this can be forgiven. -

Jan 18, 201895/100 one of the better games I've played. The atmosphere in this game is phenomenal. Even without twin stick controls for a shooter (more of an exploration game) it holds up well in the control scheme. I had one problem with a portion of the game toward the end, but still an amazing experience. Glad I jumped on this one and decided to it. A great game hidden in my backlog.

Nov 8, 2017In 2017, the game is still spectacular, the mechanics, the feeling of being alone on a planet to explore, music combined with the environment recreates one of the most invasive feelings of not knowing what to do. The small details of development make the game one of the masterpieces of video games. Congratulations to Retro Studios for creating this masterpiece.

Nov 7, 2017After 15 years since release graphics, music are stunning like they were, and great atmosphere and feel of loneliness are still there to amaze you. But game had some irritaiting stuff in it, like enemies that respawn over and over, when you are going form room to room and back and again, because game can be really confusing too. Also the post game quest is really nothing I needed in my life.

Aug 10, 2017Begun my play through for a few hours, and I was really impressed. The visuals were stunning for a game made in 2002, and the core exploration, item collection and great boss battles were still there in a 3D environment with 60 FPS. The only let down is the controls, you are gonna need to get used to them for a bit.
Overall - 96/100 -

May 11, 2017This was one hell of a debut for Retro Studios, especially with the game's troubled development. It's amazing that it still turned out to be one kickass game--the music, the lonely atmosphere, the fun combat, the still stellar graphics. Truly timeless.

-
Mar 13, 2017For far this is the best Metroid game in 3D, its a full world with creatures and the music of each enviroment is the best, there is a lot of map to explore
-
Mar 6, 2017This and Smash Bros Melee are the best games on Game Cube, and probably the two games that will be remembered in 2050 and so on. Sadly, Prime 2 Echoes didn't make a fine sequel.

Mar 2, 2017Yeah this game is pretty bad. like if you were too look up a good game in the dictionary it would have a picture of literally any other game. still better than the last of us and ocarina of time tho.
-
Jan 30, 2017Still cannot understand how the graphics were so good for this game. Besides that, it is my favorite Metroid game besides Super Metroid, and has very unique game-play, enemies, and soundtrack.
-
Jan 27, 2017My favorite video game. A perfect artwork that perfectly offers what you are looking for. This saga is underestimated by many people, and does not get the success it deserves. A real shame. Hopefully a game of this generation will be half as good as this game is.
-
Jan 3, 2017Every aspect of the game is incredible. Graphics, soundtrack, gameplay is FAIRLY UNIQUE(I fail to see any other game combining adventuring and exploration in first person) and the story is pretty sci-fi. It's just delicious to play that game!
-
Nov 24, 2016Simply put, the best FPS of all time: the isolation was great as are the areas (especially Phendrana's Drifts), the bosses were fun, the puzzle were smart. The only issues I have are the scanning and the backtracking

It looks fantastic, it plays fantastic (the best usage of the GameCube controller to date), it sounds fantastic, and darn it, it is just fun to play.
-
GameNowIt doesn't matter if you've never played a Metroid game before - Prime will kick your ass and unrelentingly own you. [A+; Jan 2003, p.62]

It oozes with so much addictiveness that the storyline plays second fiddle and reminds you of a time when gameplay was an integral part of gaming. Put simply, this is one of the best games I have played in a long, long time. [Grade = A+]
