A mega man x collection? Sign me up! I got this a couple years ago and it IS my all time favorite Mega Man X game cause it is a collection of good games that I love.

Native remasters of the original games that run better than any other versions. Some of the greatest games ever made all in one at a great value plus X5 I guess. Either way, high recommend.

With all honesty, this Collection (even without X7 and X8) makes the Legacy Collections cry.
The emulation here is great, all games run perfect here, and they even included the PSX version of Mega Man X3!
The Gallery is good, the extra game is unexpected and... kinda lame, Battle & Chase? The only issue I found is that Mega Man X6 doesn't have audio clips on the dialogues... Overall, this

Overall, this collection is a far superior way of playing these games than Legacy Collection.

A megaman collection is, for the most part, something you will definitely buy and something you probably never will. Simply said, it drowns in megaman, and if your a fan, enough said. With a resonable amount of boredom and extra cash, I would only suggest this title to ones who are willing to except the fact that it offers absolutely nothing revolutionary and new. Its an outdated mesh of mediocre to fun sidescrolling mayhem. Expand

Nicely done. All the games seem to be identical to their original versions. Some people may say otherwise... however, I've played most of these games in the past and they are the same. Gameplay is nice... a little frustrating at times. It definitely brings back a challenge for today's gamers - the kind of challenge that many of today's games can't offer. Bonuses Nicely done. Only includes Mega Man X ONE through SIX. But that is okay, because this is a great value. Keep in mind the Gamecube version is more powerful than PS2.

Just 6 very similar games and an unlockable racer.
  2. Mega Man X Collection features the triumphs and failures of Capcom's most dynamic duo. It faithfully renders all of the aspects of the games, be it the quality platforming, the tough bosses, or the less savory things like bad level design and ridiculously challenging obstacles.

The games in MMXC are the kinds that will make your wrists hurt and your palms sweat, and I mean that as the highest compliment. [Feb 2006, p.97]
