May 30, 2014Mario Party 6 is my favorite Mario Party I have played for 2 reasons. 1. It had the day and night mechanic which really changes up the style of the game depending on which board your playing on. 2. It has everything that made Mario Party 4 good and then some. Overall if anyone has a Game Cube or a Wii please stop what your doing and get this game.

May 20, 2014This game is good, but lacks a story. I HATE playing in The Solo Mode. Solo Mode - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feb 28, 2015This is another great Mario Party game. The graphics are good for GameCube. The minigames are fun. The character selection I like. The boards are awesome! This was my favourite Mario Party at the time it came out and you should go and pick up this game.

Nov 28, 2018Mario Party 6 did perfect at balancing the fun with skill, and fixing the past mistakes of the Mario Party series, and with an extra mic mechanic Mario Party 6 is the one Mario Party game to be!

EduardoR.Oct 21, 2005Faster and a bit more complex than its predecessor, MP6 mantains the unpredictability and the easy and fun mini-games. Pick up some pals and ENJOY!

KatF.Jan 28, 2005My whole family loves it. It is the best one yet. Love the mini game. We didn't care for 5 much. We have them all but 6 if far the best on yet.

RaimonEscrigPeralDec 30, 2004If you don't like a minigame, you have lots of minigames more to play with ;-)

CravenM.Jan 5, 2005The night and day feature, plus the star bank, and the different board features rock. The orbs are put to better use in this verison than 5. My greatest rave though is the quicker loading time and time between screens. It's more real time and wow do the graphics jump off the screen!

IgorF.MoredaA.Dec 17, 2004The best of the best! A videogame must be funny, and it is really funny with friends. 6 adds more minigames, microphone option, day-night changing,... If you have a GC and some friends to play with, just buy it!!

RyanM.Dec 19, 2004This game is mediocre. there's no denying it. the game has some good points, but we've seen it before. this game holds nothing new and revolutionary. just a decent game that is to be enjoyed with a couple friends for a couple hours.

Aug 23, 2011well awesome game and a family friendly one too. my mom dad and little cousins love it. and i cant believe that i saw my two parents playing it on their own accord they have had this game for 7 years and have never stopped playing it about twice a week. i join in about once a week because im a "party" pooper

Nov 16, 2011I have to admit this is a really good game when it comes to a family game night, but anything else is just a little boring. The star bank, the day and night system is absolutely creative if you think about it, but the boards could have been a bit bigger.
-
Oct 18, 2011A fun game that once you start you can't stop. great game its good for parys (obvioulsy) or just play on yourself against bots! whatever you do just get it, its family fun!
-
Nov 7, 2013I love this Mario Party game so much. I played it a lot with my youngest brother, and there are lots of minigames to play! With 6 boards, 11 characters, and amazing gameplay, this might as well be the Gamecube's best Mario Party game.
-
Jun 30, 2020One of the best Mario Party's when not the best. Good boards many fun and diverse minigames.
-
Nov 3, 2016Mario Party 6 only has one problem, complex minigames well besides that this game is perfect and was a great add on to Mario Party 5 but Mario Party 6 is my favorite though.
-
Feb 10, 2018This is my childhood and i love it you should play it the day and night gameplay is amazing and you should play it and the fact you can play as Horrid Henry in the game is amazing worth the ÂŁ80 i paid for it had to sell my kidney

Jun 8, 2019Same Thing
Mario Party 6 is definitely still a good time, Though Mario Party is starting to get slightly tedious. -
Jun 17, 2017Not as good as Mario Party 5 but still is phenomenal. Most of the minigames had brand new ideas. I love this game and it improved the capsule gimmick and added a new one! The day and night system! The only flaw I can find in this game is the story, the story was not thought out well.

Apr 8, 2022Mario Party 6 is creativity in every sense of the word... and also chaos in every sense of the word.

Nov 22, 2022This game, although overrated, is still a great multiplayer experience and after the mediocre Mario Party 5, they took out the garbage (60% of the game), and replaced it with a fun day and night mechanic that never feels gimmicky.
-
Dec 18, 2022Don't look at me, just giving this overrated ahh game a lower score. Seriously, y'all are obsessed with this game.
-
Jan 1, 2023my personal favorite Mario party game, I love the sun and moon mechanic, it's simple but adds a nice level of detail to the game. this game adds so much fun stuff that's small but improves the usual Mario Party formula immensely, I love every mini game in this one, they're all incredibly fun to play.
-
Jun 10, 2023The best and definitive Mario party and the only Nintendo game that I that shook things up perfectly to revive a stale series.

GMR MagazineJust as polished as the rest of the series, striking just the right balance between familiar and fresh material. [Feb 2005, p.99]
-
games(TM)Feeling somewhat bland against some of its predecessors, Mario Party 6's games come off as lacking in skill, not to mention creativity; the coating may look different, but the core concepts are incredibly repetitive. [Feb 2005, p.106]
-
Offers too much tedium and not nearly enough fun, mic or no mic.
