It's a very nice mansion. I just feel sorry for the ghosts that have got captured. I love the things about the mansion. The mansion is big and I love it! I wish they do a second game of it.

Great fun! Despite only having six hours of gameplay, unlike other games, you never get bored towards the end. Nintendo have finally used Luigi without Mario hobbling beside him like he always does. Highly Recomended!

"Luigi's Mansion" is a game that didn't seem to get a lot of love upon its initial release (in fact, I didn't get to play the game until 2013). That's a shame, because "Luigi's Mansion" is one of the GameCube's best titles.
With great visuals, fun gameplay, a charming storyline, catchy music and hilarious antics from Luigi himself, the game simply has it all.

If there is anything I could say bad about the game, it's that it is fairly short. One playthrough won't take more than 4-6 hours, which was probably a good way to keep the game from getting overly redundant. Even so, if you can get past the short length, "Luigi's Mansion" is an absolute romp that should sit among the very best of the GameCube's library of first-party titles.

I absolutely love the concept of this game. this isn't a traditional Mario game, and that's what makes it special. I loved exploring the creepy mansion and catching all the different types of ghosts was extremely fun. This game is definitely in my top 3 Gamecube games.

This game is a blast! It might not be best suited for hard core game players, but if you just want to see Luigi and Mario and have a little fun while doing so, don't miss it!

Luigi's Mansion is a fun but forgettable game about catching ghosts with a vacuum cleaner. The game has tons of charm but has some faults such as unbalanced difficulty, imprecise controls and an unusual turning circle. It is hilarious to see Luigi getting money for dry humping cabinets, though.... "Nnngg, Nnngg".

This game was definitely scary for anyone that was young around the time that the gamecube came out. Even to this day the music, the atmosphere, the ghosts, everything. They never did recreate this feeling in the new luigi's mansion which is sad. This game did not feel like it was for kids. It wasn't the hardest game either but it felt amazing going through this game at night as a kid. One of the best games on Gamecube. It's charming and creepy at the same time, and there's plenty of exploring to do. There's a variety in both level design and the types of enemies. Quite simply a classic

surprisingly dark and atmospheric for nintendo, with one of their more underappreciated soundtracks, probably because of how underused it is. couple of songs really give me yume nikki vibes. fantastic, if a bit short.

I myself am not a Luigi fan and yet I still loved this game. It's amazing, fun, a little bizarre, but still colorful and mesmerizing! The premise of the game is that Luigi won a mansion in a contest he didn't even enter. Not being even the tiniest bit of spooked, Mario goes up to the mansion, planning on surprising his little brother, only to be captured by ghosts! So now it's up to Luigi and his new machine, the Poltergust 3000, to suck up all the ghosts.

In short, go go from room to room collecting ghosts and money. But there are some ghosts (more humanoid ones) who are not captured so easily, and require more puzzle-solving skills in order to capture. The game keeps a good balance of difficulty. Still challenging but not frustrating.

The only real problem with this game is the length of it. An average Mario game takes about a week or two for most people to beat, maybe even a month. But this one can be completed in less than a day. No joke. And because the mansion in the game is so huge, there's going to be some back-tracking involved.

Aside from those problems, the graphics, music and even the charm in this game really make this an enjoyable game. I'd highly recommend it!

The controller vibrations, the sound design, and the visual effects are all on point and make you feel as though you are really using the poltergust 3000. The sound has this electric zap to it. it leaves you with a sensation that is hard to fathom the first time you play it through. It's got just enough intriguing story that will leave you satisfied as an adult, yet it is simple and does not shake the younger audience of their understanding. It is a game that really exemplifies the "E" ESRB rating, as it is truly made for everyone. It still holds up in 2018 and is personally one of my favorite games. If you are willing to give three to five hours of your time to this game, you will find a truly wonderful experience crammed into an 8 centimeter long CD. Expand

Every room is filled with detail and there's plenty of secrets and enemies to keep you entertained. All of the bosses and even the regular ghosts have so much character and attitude, and every boss has something unique about him and is exactly the type of person you'd expect to be living in a mansion like this (even if they're not technically living!). There are so many secrets and optional 'quests' to keep you looking all the time. The only cons for this game is that it is actually quite short, and it isn't 100% re-playable (although I have come back to it many times) also it is rather easy. Dry Bowser was recently discovered in Luigi's Mansion. You have to have 6 coins, 6 dollars, and 6 gold bars and also this can only be done in the Hidden Mansion. There is a low chance of it happening, but if you want a higher percent chance for it to happen, then you have to beat the game 6 times on each files. If you get it to work, after you beat Bowser and King Boo it shows a close up on Mario and he is still banging on the glass as if you didn't defeat King Boo. The lights go out and it shows Luigi's Poltergeist 3000 releases King Boo again and he going into the celling. When he does this you will see a picture of Dry Bowser on the celling on the room. Luigi will get sucked into the painting. you battle of the roof again, but the background is blue fire instead of red fire, and it is the same cut scene when you fight bowser, except it is Dry Bowser. King Boo has 1000 HP instead of 500 HP. When the fight is over, you will get 2 extra gold diamonds (The gold diamonds are Dry Bowser's eyes). After you exit the painting, the ending of the game will still happen normally and you get a picture of Dry Bowser and King Boo instead of Bowser and King Boo. Good luck trying to find Dry Bowser.

I will be posting picture of the boss fight very soon. Probably 10-31-13 or 12-25-13. I haven't chosen a date yet. It is going to be one of those dates. And the place where I am going to release it has not been chosen yet. And if the pictures get enough publicity, then I will post my video of me fighting Dry Bowser. The boss fight is pretty hard (a lot harder than the regular boss fight). It is actually very hidden. From what I know, it can't be found when digging through the game's data. I will be posting more info about the boss fight throughout the year.

Like getting socks for Christmas, it's good and comfortable, but not what we wanted. [Feb 2003, p.96]
  2. A competent, atmospheric adventure and truly a new direction for the characters, but at this length it simply isn’t worth the £35, let alone the cost of the console.
  3. Potential tension is sorely lacking. However, the challengingly physical and rewarding nature of the actual ghost-catching sequences does go a way to make up for this.
