OstrichEggAug 20, 2007Great game! Short and easy, but loads of fun. Free play is wonderful fun. Highly reccomend this game for all you chaps. Fish and chips and all that.

JoshK.Jul 24, 2006Almost as good fun as the real LEGO Star Wars sets. Some annoying camera angles aside, this is a real treat.

Nov 8, 2011It is incredibly easy because you can die as many times as you want, but it is a great family game because captures the imagination of both Lego and Star Wars.

Mar 2, 2017This is a very good game. An important part of my childhood. It gives the Star Wars prequels that funny touch they needed, and the LEGO characters are pretty cute. The controls are a little annoying in this version though.

#43 Most Discussed GameCube Game of 2005

Overall, the faults of Lego Star Wars can be forgiven just to play as a Lego General Grievious swinging four lightsabers, or as Yoda bouncing around, or as Chewbacca.
-
For the young crowd the game is wonderfully accessible and for the older crowd it will not fail to pull you into its charming interpretation of the Star Wars saga's prequels.
-
It has everything a family-oriented title needs: it has personality, puzzles, cooperative modes, replay value, low violence, a lack of frustrating difficulty, and most importantly, it has Darth Vader.
