Jetters may not have the multiplayer diversity of a Mario Party, but for primitive addiction, it plays to form.
  2. If you haven't ever played a Bomberman game before, add a whole point to the final score and you've got yourself a definite winner.
  3. There’s more than enough compelling features on this one disc to warrant a purchase, especially if you’re the kind of person who puts those extra few controllers to use as often as possible.
  4. I can't stress enough how chaotic and frenetic four-player matches are - you really have to play it to understand. [Dec 2003, p.158]

The control in the multiplayer mode is a bit better than in "Generations," which is a good thing, as "Generations" had some rather stiff control issues.
  6. It also distinguishes itself among platformers by letting the player control the camera at all times.
  7. Personally, I think the game is worth it just for the multiplayer mode. I consider the single player mode an added bonus that you can play in your spare time.

Bomberman fans aren't in for anything really new with Bomberman Jetters, but it's hard to knock yet another faithful adaptation of one of gaming's most successful gameplay formulas.

The graphics are too anime-riffic (Story mode, I mean!), and what's with the voices? Some of them appear to be some other chacter's voices, but other then that, I'm impressed. My favirote character is Hindu Bandit (Did I spell that right?) no. 1. This game is suprising enough. Now... if only there were a music generator for the GameCube... Full Review »
