Absolutely beautiful game!! They say that it has a "kiddy" appeal, but I'm 42 years old and I love it. It's all I play all day long!

This is a really cool game I got Backyard Football 2004 for the pc and this game is better graphics wise, but BBF '04 is better player wise because there more ppl.

I think that this game should have more players like Daunte Culpepper, Randy Moss Torry Holt, Deuce Macallester, Preist Holmes, and Cris Carter.

The peppy game exudes plenty of personality, and young fans will love the smart game play. [Sept 2002, p.163]
  2. Granted, some of the three-dimensional effects are very nice, but at times, the game looks like a title in the Lego series, and not the carefree, cartoonish game that has become so enjoyable.
  3. Although Backyard Football may work for a seven-year-old, few others would get much enjoyment from it. Lacking serious refinement in most areas, the “cute” style of gameplay wears off quickly and leaves few reasons to come back.
