Very well executed.
-
One of Aggressive Inline's most appealing aspects is the simplest (yet most brilliant) of them all: zero time limit. I could go on and on about how wonderful this is, but I don't think I have to.
-
Quite simply the new Mack Daddy of extreme sports games. Think what might happen if "Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3," "Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2" and "Jet Set Radio Future" all settled down and had a baby together thats Aggressive Inline.
-
It takes everything that is good about the Tony Hawk games and expands on it rather significantly.
-
The title just has it all. A deep, intuitive control scheme mingles wonderfully with gargantuan levels filled with challenges.
-
One of the best extreme sports games to come out in a long while.
-
It has tons of replayability and lots of fun, even if it might take a while to grasp the control and get used to the speed issue.
-
Lots of replay value, lots of fun, lots of bouncing breasts. This is no Tony Hawk-stale-ass-been-there-done-that type of game; this game is fresh, fun, and fast.
-
Aggressive Inline literally has become my favorite extreme sports game to date.
-
The depth and design of each stage, in fact, is what makes this game addicting to playtheres so much to see and do in each level.
-
netjakImagine taking the freedom and tricks from "THPS" and combine the adrenaline-pumping fun of a "Jet Set Radio." ... Truly a breath of fresh air for the gaming community.
-
Its innovations with regard to timed-run and in-level goal designs are sure to become trends used in the next generation of alternative sports games.
-
Game InformerAs much a platformer as it is an action/sports title...I just would have liked it better with more Tony and less Mario. [Sept 2002, p.84]
-
Nintendo PowerThe enormous levels and innovative tricks make for endless game play. [Oct 2002, p.194]
-
Career mode in AI is amazingly fun because there is so much to do and see in each level.
-
Play MagazineDishes out some truly inventive (if not a tad insane) leve design, tight gameplay, and great visuals, to the extent that anyone even remotely interested in the sport will likely embrace this game's spin on the whole extreme sports trend. [Oct 2002, p.85]
