It's no easy feat to invigorate a genre that has remained fairly set in its ways for the last few generations, let alone do it with the imagination and energy present here.

At this point, I don't think it's reasonable to recommend playing this particular version of the game, unless you absolutely loathe voice acting (and/or refined graphics, and/or the PSP as a platform).

There's no denying that this is one of the most beautiful and visually-complicated games ever released on the GBA. The gameplay is unique and inventive, but it's not always intuitive and won't be everyone's cup of tea.
