Whilst THQs game lacks the technical depth of "Fire Pro Wrestling," it makes up for this with five different game modes including Exhibition, King of the Ring and as the games title suggests Wrestlemania.
-
A solid, option-ripe game that translates well to this format. Perhaps the control elements are a little tough, but that is part of the joy and challenge.
-
The gameplay is simple enough for beginners to enjoy, which should please those turned off by "Fire Pro Wrestling," but there's also enough advanced strategy to keep you occupied long after landing all five championships.
-
The graphics in this Advance title arent that bad but they dont look that much more spectacular than the GBC wrestling games.
-
Nintendo PowerA stone-cold stunner. [Jan 2002, p.134]
-
One notable disappointing absence in this game is any of the female wrestlers - come on, THQ, let's not be all macho about this!
-
A rehash of the GBC game, which hardly had any heat for the 8-bit sluggo -- the same game that got canned for not measuring up last year.
