Some cool, great music and the cutscenes are fun, but the singleplayer campaign is designed to make you fail and try over and over again. It's a short game if you run through it, and the gameplay is too simple (timed single button presses) to make it fun by itself. The fun consists of your thought process in the moment you try to figure out the task. The artists/designers did a great jobSome cool, great music and the cutscenes are fun, but the singleplayer campaign is designed to make you fail and try over and over again. The artists/designers did a great job to try to make the game stand out, but what you're doing isn't really special in any way. Would be a really fun game for kids (bizarre kid friendly humor) if it wasn't punishing. No real reason to seek this out in 2013. A fun celebration of 'style over substance' nevertheless. Expand

I was surprised at how good and funny it was. I appreciate how much there is to unlock. It got old fast though.

A collection of over 200 totally unexpected, random, frighteningly creative "microgames." [Aug 2003, p.79]
  2. If variety is the spice of life, then Wario Ware is the digital equivalent of Phall curry, burning the inside of your face with its charm and originality.
  3. On your first go you'll be left wondering what all the fuss is about, but give it ten minutes and you'll find that your GBA will have to be prised from your cold dead hands.
