  1. Nintendo Power
    72
The activities are simple enough for young players to understand, but engaging enough for all players to enjoy. [Apr 2003, p.138]

The game isn't a bad little game for its target audience...but old-school Muppet fans and experienced gamers shouldn't expect a whole lot of deep gameplay.
  3. Pocket Games

If you have a youngster in the house and would like to see him play something other than Pokemon, you could do a lot worse. But it's for children only. [Fall 2003, p.50]

Any gamer below the age of 12 will enjoy The Muppets: On With The Show. The game is fun, cheap, and re-playable.
  5. The majority of the famous Muppets were used for the game and password save is not a big deal with just a few letters or numbers to remember.
  6. Ultimately, the biggest problem with the game is longevity. There is no scoring system in place and subsequently no battery backup to save best times, points, or top achievements.
  7. Cheat Code Central

Remains true to the character's roots and is aimed exclusively at youngsters that don't realize that Kermit sounded a little different a decade ago.
  8. Game Informer

While the cameos are amusing, the games just aren't much fun. [June 2003, p.120]
