Nov 9, 2011Some people find that this Zelda game is short but it is actually quite long for a Game Boy Advance game, and fun for that matter. The puzzles and the world feel so new and the gameplay has rarely been better for a 2D Zelda. The bosses are the most difficult in the history of Zelda.

Mar 9, 2015Without a doubt, this game is the absolute best 2D entry in the Legend of Zelda series. It's up there with the best like Ocarina of Time, a true masterpiece of game design.

Jan 11, 2021Its my first GBA and Zelda game. This game is just adorable. I still cant understand why this game is 89.
-
I.L.Sep 6, 2006Pretty much the best 2d Zelda since A Link to the Past. If it was longer it would be the better than LTTP.

Apr 19, 2020Top down Zelda's are the best and this one all though I'm only half through has been great fun. More complex than I expected.
-
Jun 21, 2021They are not real puzzles, you are going to spin more than a spinning top, but the hero's journey runs through the tales of classical culture

Sep 23, 2019In meinen Augen eines der besten Spiele und ein sehr solides 2D Zelda. Die Einfürung des Schrumpfens war ein sehr spaßiges und innovatives Gimmick, meiner Meinung nach.

PeterFeb 20, 2005Wow! i just finished it and i am in awe. i hooked it up to my game boy player and it was like link to the past but even better(well, just as darn good!) on the regular tv screen! i recently wrote a bad review on four swords because, well, it sucked, but this game picks the series back up by its boot straps, i am only sad that i have to wait for another for a long time now.

Now to every one who says this game is to hard suck it up the puzzles are a 5 out of 10 vati is a 7 out of ten

W.H.Dec 1, 2004Beautiful graphics that blend the style of Wind Waker with the beauty of A Link To The Past, brilliant music, and the inimitable style of gameplay that has consistently put the Zelda franchise above all others. An instant classic.

JonH.Feb 2, 2005Amazing, so great that this comes out now after the big disappoint of the nintendo ds, the first great game i got for it is this one and it's a gameboy advance game.

TrailTearsMar 5, 2005Even though at the beginning it's a little boring, it gets better as it goes on. Difficult to get all the stuff, and if you don't get it on time, you miss it for all the game (light arrows and kinstone fusion). Besides of that, it's a great Zelda game.

RavenNov 20, 2004Probably the best Zelda game on GBA (not including the remake of the snes Link to the Past) to date. Great fun to play with a sufficient number of dungeons to complete, though maybe a little simplistic at times.

MauriceR.Jan 21, 2005Terrific game. I am a huge Zelda fan and this one does not dissapoint. I love the Wind Waker influence. Great story and perfect game controls. It's a testament to how good this game when I even play it while in my living room!

The game may be short by the franchise's standards, but every minute of it is breathtaking.
-
Thankfully, longevity hasn't been sacrificed for the sake of beauty: the main quest alone will take the average gamer a minimum of fifteen hours and that's without spending a single moment delving into the fabulous subquests, which will double, even triple that time...A stunning and wondrous game.

GMR MagazineOutside of a slightly boring midgame stretch in which you're tracking down overdue library books (no, really) and an overly tough final boss, this is a flawless portable adventure. [Feb 2005, p.91]
