Despite the decent visuals, the repetitive action drags this one down. Thankfully the game can be completed in about two hours. [Summer 2003, p.49]
  2. Nintendo Power

The character movement is much less restrictive than the movement in most isometric-view games. [May 2003, p.140]

Simply a mediocre action game with not a whole lot of things to do.
  4. The game ultimately fails because of its repetitive level design and a control system that’s more irritating than fun.

Instead of a Superhero game this one is more of a go here and punch this guy, repeat and move on. Not even die-hard fans like Vaughn would have many nice things to say of this version.

A mediocre game with pleasant and colorful graphics but with repetitive and challenging gameplay that may reduce the value of the game to some extent.
