AlanF.Nov 7, 2006Really, really, *really* enjoyable. Each path through the game is over 40 missions long, and while the last half of the game is the same no matter what path you take, it's still extremely entertaining. The level of customisation is great: everything from individual mechs, weapons, and even pilots can be customised. A great game! Look for Original Generation 2 coming out in November.

GinjiA.Oct 11, 2006One of the best game ever. Loved it, nice graphics, I think it's even better than OG2 the Japanese version.

Jun 23, 2020Finished this game, very fun to watch the main character have a unique character and not bland. Very cool mechs. Story line very good, but you have to use your brain to defeat this game.

Apr 27, 2023Turn-based military strategy game in the Front Mission mould that pales in comparison to the Advance Wars games, but pretty much everything does. A good, solid handheld strategy title.

The deep combat, unique character designs and intriguing plot offer something for both the strategy fan and the giant robot enthusiast.

A few minor issues barely put a dent in this anime-inspired strategy role-playing game, which delivers a great story and dozens of interesting missions.

If you like the turn-based strategy RPG genre (such as Fire Emblem), you're almost guaranteed to enjoy this game. Be prepared to do a lot of reading, a lot of thinking, and a lot of losing. With that mindset, you can really enjoy this entry in Banpresto's long line of mecha SRPGs.
