  1. One of those great games that has enough objectives to keep you busy for a long time and an enjoyable feel that will keep you playing long after you have smashed every record.
  2. Cheat Code Central

The best game of its kind on the GBA.
  3. The open-ended gameplay and un-lockable items keep things interesting enough and the sweet 3D graphics round out a solid game which is well worth the price tag.
  4. The game duplicates many of the same features found in the console versions of SSX 3 and has a free-flowing 3D graphics engine that is pretty much unrivaled by anything else currently available for the system.

The controls work well even with the GBA's four-button layout, and most tricks come out smoothly onscreen. [Spring 2004, p.47]
  6. 70
These are minor problems, however, compared to the mind-numbing frustration of the A.I.’s catch-up programming, which makes your opponents inexplicably faster when you’re ahead in the last legs.
  7. Nintendo Power

Although it doesn't quite deliver the adrenaline rush and out-of-control speed of the GCN version, SSX 3 for the GBA is a smoooth-grooving snowboarder. [Feb 2004, p.154]
  8. What sets SSX apart from all other snowboarding games is its intense “in your face” sort of feel.
  9. Not even close to the exciting console versions.
  10. But it's slow, it's sluggish, the controls are unresponsive and it's a real chore to play. That equals no fun.
  11. 45
The engine used for the graphics has a hell of a time keeping up with all that the designers throw at it, and the detached, sluggish control just adds to the frustration.
  12. A listless, sludgy slog through a knee-deep slush puddle of suckiness. [Dec 2003, p.187]
  13. 40
Rather than working with the many strengths of the GBA system, EA Canada has tried to shoehorn impossible content into SSX 3, and the strain shows from moment one.
  14. 30
The play mechanics are literally all wrong. Depth in character building doesn't matter when you wish your character would just take a wrong turn and fall off a cliff and land on some very sharp rocks.

A Fair enuff game. Althought this game should be on PS2 insted of a minor Advanced, it's still a fair game.
