Jul 26, 2016Well, Orange is better but this game holds decent things to offer. Probably in my top 25 favorite Gameboy Advance game. This game has good gameplay and it is very decent.

BenG.Jun 8, 2004This game is so terrible. If I must backtrack one more time, I will throw my Game Boy Advance through the window! I wish I could rate it even lower than zero, that's how bad it is.

Apr 30, 2011A mildly diverting platformer/party game that isn't as good as its counterpart, but kiddies of all ages will enjoy it. Pros: Great graphics for the GBA; variety of mini-games; the platforming "hubworld" has a lot to collect. Cons: Too short, too easy; some of the mini-games get repetitious; Crash Bandicoot Purple is a tad bit better.

May 20, 2018it aright. its not much when compared to the crash counterpart but great nevertheless.
-
Dec 19, 2018While the visuals and gameplay are really good for a GBA game, the repeated mini-games, the complete lack of anything that made Spyro great to begin with, and overwhelmingly short length makes this not only an immense waste of time, but a slap in the face for Spyro fans.
-
Feb 26, 2019This is even more repetitive than Crash Purple. And the story makes even less sense. Also **** the back tracking in this game. And that is all I have to say. 4.5/10

#29 Most Discussed Game Boy Advance Game of 2004

The gripes are really mainly relating to the individual games, which for anyone remotely experienced will quickly become far too familiar and untaxing to warrant extended interest.
-
The mini-games are satisfying, despite their slight repetitiveness, and are quite a bit of fun. If there is another mini-games focused Spyro game in the future, the platforming elements need serious work, but overall the games style works.

I enjoyed Spyro Orange much more than the previous GBA installments, although the gameplay was much more simplistic this time around...A good buy for parents to look into.
