  1. The screen size and button layout of the GBA prove to be limitations that this otherwise respectable port of SimCity 2000 cannot overcome.

Nice eye candy, but without any substance. The features that made the PC version so addictive and well balanced are all gone, and what remains is only a shell of the original game, which is little more than an unresponsive electronic sandbox.

This game kicks ass, old school games are better than must new games out there.

Considering the limitations it's pretty good, except for one problem: it's far too unresponsive when fighting disasters. Single Considering the limitations it's pretty good, except for one problem: it's far too unresponsive when fighting disasters. Single riots and small fires are ok, but if you have a fire speading throughout your city, forget about trying to fight it. It simply doesn't respond to your moving of the firefighter placements unless you hold down the direction for a long time - then it scrolls you past where you wanted to go - very frustrating. Other than that, the limitations compared to the PC version are understandable, and the game play is decent. Full Review »
