  1. A typical side-scrolling game with platforms you have to jump up on and objects to obtain to test your ability to jump and dodge.
  2. Great graphics, good music, a somewhat amusing plot, and a humorous "hiding" mechanic are all wasted for the want of something to do besides search for keys and clues while performing some lightweight platforming. [Jan 2004, p.160]
  3. Nintendo Power

Scooby-Doo enthusiasts will enjoy the game's humor and colorful art style. [Nov 2003, p.154]

The levels are not what you'd consider "tightened up" because they're extremely large and cluttered with passages to other large and cluttered levels.

Unless you're a hopeless fan of the series and you're excited by the novelty of playing out an episode of the show during its classic phase, then I can't stop you. The rest of you should note that this is just an average game with very few highlights.

Although this was confusing b/c of the secret passageways I found it enjoyable and an extraordinary game! Well done!
