Generally speaking, the game is weird to look at. Which is a bit of a shame really because it's great fun to play.
-
This game won't be winning any technological achievement awards in the near future but it does do a commendable job of staying true to the movie while keeping the action well-paced and intense.
-
Really fun and truly invigorating--at least until you play through all 16 levels or grow tired of killing things.
-
Without multiplayer, there's not much content to go through in this game and on its own in single player, it's not overly compelling content either.
-
If not for the accursed password system, the wonky controls, and collecting, I would've said, "Great job."
-
Clumsy controls and irritating design flaws take what was already a boring and mediocre overhead shooter and make it unbearably frustrating.
-
Pocket GamesFun for some, probably too repetitive for most. [Spring 2003, p.37]
-
Nintendo PowerAfter you complete several missions, you can switch sides and control an infant dragon, helping it grow, mature and fight the human hordes. [Jan 2003, p.176]
-
It isn't a terrible game, it's just repetitive, flat, murky and rushed out for Christmas.
