We found that the need to hammer the A, B, L and R buttons repeatedly did get quite painful after a while. Doubtless fans of the Ready 2 Rumble series will love it though.
-
A surprisingly good interpretation of its console counterpart. The game's graphics, sound, and gameplay make it a perfect game to take with you anywhere.
-
The game is more reflexive than cerebral, but still a lot of fun.
-
For boxing fans - it floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee.
-
This mediocre conversion is better than the last Game Boy effort, providing gamers with fairly short-lived button-mashing fun.
-
It combines vibrant colors, fun modes of play, and best of all, large and distinguishable characters.
-
If multiplayer had been added to this game, I could like it a lot more.
-
Not half as fun as the full console versions.
-
Graphics mean nothing without gameplay, and sadly this is what this game boils down to.
-
This boxer needs a cut man to throw in the towel immediately.
-
The only thing that could have saved this game would have been a link-cable two-player option, and we've been screwed out of that, too.
-
All the pretty graphics and solid sound in the world can't make up for a boring game with sloppy controls...a sheer waste of time.
