RobO.Jan 24, 2005D00d Bl0ke- EGM has every right to criticise the game 'cause of the tiny pad: you have to design within the constraints of the console.

TomG.Oct 9, 2003The best Handheld Mortal Kombat ever. Better that Mortal Kombat Advance, that's for sure.

SkunkedWerksSep 25, 2003This game is mediocre, the fatalities are just regular moves with more blood effects. The programmers were so lazy they gave everyone the same damn moves. The weapons idea suck and should have never been added, and the psuedo 3-d enviroments are really crappy as well.

Jul 12, 2020While klunky and unwieldy at times, This game packs enough kontent and kuality gameplay to make up for most of its issues.

Pocket GamesAll of the new multi-player options are the best reason to pick this one up. If you have one or more friends to link-up with, you're in for a great time. [Fall 2003, p.49]

The focus on adding features -- both for single as well as multiple players -- keeps the design exciting and fun.
