So, essentially what we have for the 2006 version of Madden on the Game Boy Advance is last year's game plus Mini Camps.

If you've never touched a football game in your life, it might be a little out of reach for you, and if you've played every football game out there, it might seem a bit boring and pointless.
-
The controls, interfaces, artificial intelligence, graphics, audio, and pretty much everything else in this latest game are mostly unchanged from the previous one. That's not a complete negative, since last year's game delivered some great football, but you may be disappointed if you were hoping to see significant upgrades to this year's model.

The Game Boy Advance version scores 73%.
-
Nintendo PowerA solid title with good football sense and strong gameplay. [Oct 2005, p.97]
-
This is not a bad game, but it doesn't make the playoffs when compared to other handheld systems. The GBA shows its age and limitations with this title.
-
If you've got last year's version of Madden NFL, then you don't need this one. It's so disappointing to see such little improvement in this series.
