Oct 21, 2021Kong is a great looking game with many in-depth features like the switching between characters and inventory crafting system, however, the combat gets boring and the levels that switch up the gameplay like the one where you play as Kong or the raft level are nice, but get frustrating after a while. I didn't expect much from a late-release movie license game from Ubisoft, but I was pleased.

A surprisingly solid game.
-
A competent action role-playing game and a decent movie tie-in.

The game is fairly entertaining, but doesn't set any new standards in the industry. It simply feels like the developers tried to make a halfway decent game that uses the Kong name to sell a higher number of copies.
