  1. A good game that ends before its time. Now that it's over, I want to go back and unlock all of the cars that I missed, but I don't have any desire to play through the entire game again.
  2. A very accessible racing title that is easy to play from the start so fun is also a word that comes along for the ride. But in spite of the variety, I came away with the feeling that there was too much and then at the same time, too little of a game.

Aside form a handy save-game feature, though, it doesn't feel like much has changed here from the last game - at least not in terms of gameplay. [July 2002, p.126]

There's a lot of replay value, but GTA 2 is somewhat marred by its control and some wacky physics. [Winter 2002, p.48]

Looks and plays almost exactly like the original GT Advance—not a problem if you liked powersliding around the first game, but disappointing if you were expecting fifty dozen cars and pages of intricate tuning options.
  6. With solid statistics tracking, a superb replay feature from various camera angles after each leg, and a diverse selection of race modes, cars, and tracks, GT Advance 2: Rally Racing offers heavy horsepower in the GBA racing garage.

It's really short and the graphics aren't great either, but it'll keep you entertained for a bit. Does it break much from the norm? Not really, but it was a nice little side game for a while, and I definitely enjoyed playing it. The save system is really weird, you need to manually load your game from the menus, but after you figure it out it shouldn't be too problematic. Would I pay much for it? No, but if you come across it cheap at a yard sale or something, maybe you should give it a try. Full Review »
