There is immense replay value, as the game contains 27 levels, and you can re-enter area once youve already completed them, should you desire to.
-
As long as you dont expect the fast pace and energy (not to mention multiplayer action) of its arcade and console counterparts you should have fun with this game.
-
Gauntlet with no multiplayer is like trying to drive a car with no tires. What the heck is up with that?
-
A hack-and-slash fest in its most basic, embarrassing form -- and faulty, at that.
-
It's a slow and dull action game with very little technique. Top that off with NO MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT, and there's really no reason to play this game. It's not fun.
-
The biggest issue players will likely have is fighting off sheer boredom instead of a pack of orcs, trolls, or scorpions.
-
Game InformerThe graphics are horrendous, and the gameplay is so painfully slow that I contemplated defenestraing this cartridge from the fourth story window of our building in hopes that I would never have to see it again. [Mar 2003, p.92]
