It's the perfect car trip game. I haven't been on a car trip in years, and I haven't been on a plane since I was 12, but I have been in plenty of boring situations. Desert Strike would have been the perfect solution to all of them.

As good as, if not better than the original Genesis version.
-
Game InformerThis is a difficult game. [July 2002, p.93]
-
Nintendo PowerThe game can hover into repetitive territory since the missions aren't incredibly varied. [June 2002, p.150]
-
Exactly the same game as older [Genesis] players remember -- no upgrade in graphics, no extra levels or missions, and no multiplayer support.
-
The smaller GBA screen means you can't see as much of your surroundings as you could in the originals, making it easy to sustain damage from something you can't even see.
