Ultimately, Transformers Animated: The Game works by delivering classic platforming gameplay and getting the feel of the series down.
-
Fans of the series will certainly not want to miss out on this title that offers a great action-puzzle experience that will keep you on your robotic toes.
-
Transformers Animated proves to be a surprisingly enjoyable game that could appeal to more than just young fans of the television show.
-
If you are looking for a game that will make your kids think and not just blast away at enemies, Transformers Animated The Game is a good choice.
-
Though the game lacks many high points to point out past the overall presentation, it also lacks any truly hampering flaws to sour the experience.
-
It isn't wildly creative or original, it's just a well-developed Lost Vikings clone that keeps in mind its target audience: Transformers Animated fans. I just wish the "transforming" part didn't feel so separate from the rest of the experience.
-
A good game to get for your child who is Transformer crazy; normally these licensed games turn out to be nothing more then garbage but here is a rare treat.
-
Nintendo PowerFor the most part. though, this is a surprisingly thoughtful challenge, and a much more effective game for it. [Dec 2008, p.102]
-
A kid who loves the TV show might find Transformers Animated: The Game amusing for a little while, and some adults might enjoy the more challenging puzzles. However, most players who aren't blinded by love for Transformers will probably find this title a bit boring. There are better games like this out there.
-
Although this game is based on the new animated series, Transformers Animated: The Game has a solid single-player campaign that will test both your reflexes and your brain.
-
Though it's short and easy, Transformers Animated features some interesting gameplay and great presentation.
-
Almost nothing to do with Transformers but a reasonably decent action puzzler nonetheless.
-
It's not bad by any means, but to some of you seeking the ultimate Transformer gaming experience, it may be less than meets the eye.
-
You’ll also find a few vehicular sections that revert to the standard, over-the-hood follow camera and culminate in a battle with Lockdown.
-
Not bad for a TV tie-in, but sadly lacking when judged against the entire DS catalogue.

May 30, 2023The Lost Vikings with robots and nice colourful graphics. It may be the least ambitious of the Transformers games, but it's also easily the best.
