    Lots to recommend about this update of the '08 game. Shame there's not more of it though.

    I miss a story or career mode, but on the whole, TrackMania Turbo is a really cool racing-game on the Nintendo DS. Especially fans of TrackMania will have a lot of fun with this one.

    More polished and comprehensive than the previous DS installment, thanks to the adding of the online mode, TrackMania Turbo is a nice arcade racing game.

    I came to play this with no previous experience of the track mania series... so NO expectations... not being a racing game fan.....BUT i LOVEDI came to play this with no previous experience of the track mania series... so NO expectations... not being a racing game fan.....BUT i LOVED IT....
    and the reason why is that each track is so short... maybe 30 seconds.....and you kinda learn new skills on each track...... and you get medals and points for each 30 second track completed... bronze .. silver ...gold.... so I found myself engaged and wanting to just get that next medal to unlock the next car..track...or whatever...absolute GEM ....pick it up .... put it down.... I .play it alongside playing my rpg...for light relief. FAB    … Expand

The physics are surprisingly nice, and you can have four opponents on screen while playing solo (bronze time, silver time, gold time, ghost car). The hot seat play is as nice as on other platforms. Unfortunately the limitations of the DS hardware show often: the track editor only allows you to use a certain number of blocks to make a raceway and the low screen resolution can get you lost on some tracks. But when you have a lot of multiplayer modes, many tracks, every inaccuracy of the cartridge can be forgiven. I can highly recommend this game to everyone!… Expand
