    Es un buen juego, los gráficos en 2-D están muy bien diseñados, los fondos del juego están muy bien diseñados y los movimientos de Thor también son muy buenos aunque le falto variedad. Es un juego repetitivo y se hace tedioso, los enemigos tienen los mismos movimientos, solo diferente diseño. Los jefes no son muy difíciles, y se puede volver mas complicado una escena que algún jefe, peroEs un buen juego, los gráficos en 2-D están muy bien diseñados, los fondos del juego están muy bien diseñados y los movimientos de Thor también son muy buenos aunque le falto variedad. Es un juego repetitivo y se hace tedioso, los enemigos tienen los mismos movimientos, solo diferente diseño. Los jefes no son muy difíciles, y se puede volver mas complicado una escena que algún jefe, pero te tomara como máximo 2 vidas si eres novato. Es un buen beat 'em up. Deberían probarlo.… Expand

    if you like any of wayfowards other offerings on the ds, then you will love this title. If you love side scrolling beat em ups in general, then you will love this title. ..thor has a good amount of moves and power ups to keep things fresh on all ends. .. boss battles are alot of fun and the control feels great.. the thing i love about wayfowards work, is the 2D animations!.. they reallyif you like any of wayfowards other offerings on the ds, then you will love this title.     Good game as a whole with some negatives. Repetitive enemies, level design and combat. Long levels become a tedious task and you end up finding yourself bored. Despite this, boss fights are entertaining, however, not as challenging as expected. Runes add a nice touch. Sound isn't amazing but suit the game.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Thor God of Thunder for the DS is the true definition of a Hidden Gem. A very good game, I’m quite impressed with WayForward’s work. This game is so unknown to people I can barely find anything online, like walkthroughs etc. It’s short, took me 4h25 to complete it. It shouldn’t be longer than that though, the combat can get repetitive especially if you don’t use the combos. If you do manage to figure out the combos then you’re in for a treat, it’s very satisfying to pull long combos. I had a hard time putting the game down to be honest. The game never really tells you about these combos, you have to discover them yourself, which was a shame because I would’ve like to use them from the beginning. Even the instruction manual had nothing about combos. There was a digital manual at some point on Sega’s website but I couldn’t find it. The pixel art is superb, what a beautiful game. The sprites are so good looking. And don’t get me started on the bosses, they are enormously beautiful! The dual screen feature is used in smart ways. I love that you can just fly into the top screen, stay airborne for a bit while kicking ass and throw Mjollnir around then dive bomb into the bottom screen. The touch pad is only used for the God Powers and that’s it, which is good in my opinion. I typically don’t like the touch screen features in video games. The game never gets too difficult. I died 10-15 times at most. The boss fights were the most challenging, especially the final boss. I kept dying within 10 seconds, then learned the patterns and voila, easy peasy. It’s weird that the cover on the case is the one of Chris Hemsworth because the story is not of the movie. It’s closer to the comics from my understanding. This game is still super cheap and it’s probably because people think it’s based off the movie when it’s not, and when that is the case it’s usually a terrible game. In this case, WayForward just did their own thing and absolutely nailed it. A co-op mode would have been a great addition. Awesome game. 8/10.… Expand

    Es un buen juego, creo que el mejor juego de la adaptación de la película, sin embargo hay partes un poco repetitivas y una curva de dificultad simple. Pero eso es todo lo malo realmente, el juego es mucho mejor de lo que podría esperarse de una adaptación de película. Esto es posible gracias al buen diseño de WayForward, genial animación y gran gameplay. Muy recomendable este juego.

    Once you're finished, something that should only take about five hours, you can unlock the super hard Ragnorak mode, and maybe then your thirst for challenge will be sated, but at that point, why bother? There may be more moves to unlock and different costumes to flit about in, but by then you've seen all there is to see and honestly, hitting a giant with a hammer is only so interesting, regardless of how many different ways you can swing it.

    WayForward clearly aimed to put out something more than the cheap cash-in and in the process produced probably the best of the Thor games and one of the better movie tie-ins in recent memory.
