Official Nintendo Magazine UKA classic reworked to its former glory. This works well on othe DS and is great fun, but the silly amount of depth makes it excessively complicated too. [May 2007, p.76]

Gamestyle does still love Theme Park just as much as when we first played it in 1994, it is still disappointing to see that EA Japan haven't added anything apart from having a little helper guide you through the game.
-
Nintendo GamerDeep, involving management sim with an appealing theme and enough comical touches to make you forget that you're really playing a piece of A-level economics coursework. [May 2007, p.59]

Not very different from versions on other consoles, Theme Park DS makes good use of the console, and is a neat package for those who want to think on the move.
-
AceGamezAlthough it isn't for everyone, this DS version should definitely be snapped up by those who enjoy games that require a bit of thought and time investment, as well as by those who like to show off their creativity.
-
If you're a fan of simulation games or enjoy creating theme parks or managing funds, Theme Park is an excellent port from the original PC game, and it plays amazingly well on the NDS. Despite the lack of true new content and any form of multiplayer, Theme Park proved to be simultaneously challenging and interesting.

Though you'll definitely see that this game came from over a decade ago, you'll still have a lot of fun changing ticket prices, hiring guys in rhino costumes, and cleaning up after queasy kids just stepping off the rollercoaster.

SteveC.May 11, 2007Very complex and a lot of fun. It makes my daily train commute go by very quickly. Fans of sim games will love it.
