Save for a very few highlights, this is a rather soulless game that will bore even the younger gamers whom it has obviously been made to entertain.
-
Clearly, Tamagotchi Connection is geared towards younger gamers, as anyone else will become quickly bored with it. But hey, if you have a younger sister or a daughter who's just starting to get into games, this would be a pretty darn good start.
-
Players of Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Store can't help but feel they're getting screwed over on both ends.
-
Beautiful music, cute visuals, and a peculiarly charming attitude make you want to like it. Recognising that it's aimed at younger players makes you want to forgive it. But it cannot be denied that this is a big ol' mess of nice ideas executed badly, with the most important ingredient completely missing.
-
Sweet, simple fare that children will fleetingly enjoy, but play soon becomes work in a sweatshop.
-
Mixing cute with boring, Tamagotchi Connection Corner Shop quickly becomes so routine you should be paid £5 an hour to play it.
