One could possibly spend hours on end playing this game, as they obsessively upgrade their shops to unlock more things to buy, until eventually you monopolizing businesses the entire Tamagotchi Mall.
  2. It’s the perfect game to play when you only have a few minutes to spare, but don’t expect a very deep game.

Although it's basically exactly the same as the first version, we're still delighted with its twinkling games, soothing tunes and quirky artwork. [JPN Import; Oct 2006, p.66]
  4. Whether you fall in the target audience or are someone who’s dreamed of running their own business, there’s definitely some entertainment to be found here.

Too similar to the first game, but still worth playing to have a smile brought to your face. [June 2007, p.74]
  6. Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop 2 has an appealing look and minigames that are fun at first, but the gameplay quickly wears thin because there's nothing to keep you playing.
  7. Basically the same game as the first Corner Shop, with different shops and minigames.

If you're over six years old, you have no reason to check out this game, but it would make a good gift for a daughter or younger sister.
  9. Tedious repetition needs to be a little better disguised.

Tho I will admit that some of the mini games are boring and it's annoying how many time you must play them to upgrade the builds. I wish it told you how many more you have to play them but it does not. you just kind of have to hope that a king, queen or prince comes though the door. the character are always charming, colourful, and well-designed. Both simple and memorable. I really like Gozarutchi, Masktchi and Androtchi. overall i still had fun and will probably pick it up again when going on another long trip. Full Review »
