    Fans of the webslinger will be disappointed at the toned down, clunky controls. The villains turned ally premise is kind of neat, but proves to be more of a frustration than anything.

    All told, Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is an abomination, an abysmal excuse for a game. Virtually every aspect of this blatant grab for cash is flawed in some significant way, and the makers of this game clearly churned out a severely sub-par product in an attempt to milk the franchise name in the most reprehensible of ways.

    Bland 3D beat 'em up where you're partnered up with characters with different abilities. There are a lot of Spider-Man games on the DS and not only is this not the best, it's not even one of the better ones. Try Lego Batman instead.… Full Review »

    The adventures are fine, the story is decent, and the playable villains are the most enjoyable part of the game. Unfortunately, the game doesn't offer anything in terms of re-playability. It's visually unappealing (even for a DS game) and it's linear and contained approach leave no room for bonus content or anything compelling once the credits roll.

    Overall, it's a decent DS game experience for a good price so if you can find it for a severe discount, it's worth checking out.    … Full Review »
