Well, it was short, and there wasn't much of a plot. Designing a rabbid was easier said then done as well. In the design mode, the bunny appears differently on the bottom screen than it does on the top screen. And the rabbid appears differently in the game. So they are three separate things. Plus, when the rabbid appears in the game, some of my paint colour would sometimes appear all over the rabbids face, when it doesn't on any other occassion. And on top of that, I could only put hair on the front of its head. Which is a shame, because I bought this game, so that I could design a rabbid. But other than that, this game was great. I didn't like some of the minigames, but I really enjoyed others. Especially spitting in a rabbid's drink, or chatting on cell phones in the movie theatre. And the graphics were great. The rock band type minigame at the end of every section, saved this game in my mind. I actually prefer their version of celebration. That is what makes this game a game. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 has its flaws, but hopefully they will be fixed for the next installment. I mean the first game was an average side scroller aside from the weirdness. This game was an average minigame collection aside from the weirdness. Maybe they can combine both ideas, and improve the ability to design rabbids, in order to make an excellent third installment. I actually kind of enjoyed this version a little bit. Not my preferred way to play a Rabbids game, but it's decent for playing one on the go. It was better than TV Party on DS.

  1. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 tries to seduce you with its quirky 3D visuals, but at its core this is just a bare-bones mini-game collection that can only sustain the briefest of relationships.

It's good to have a better Rayman Raving Rabbids installment on DS than the one released last year, but we have a feeling that Ubisoft could have done much more on a handheld system that offers many great examples of mini-game collections.
  3. It's one of those titles where the more you play, the less fun you have.
