The game designs here are not completely without merit, as it shows a spark of creativity that some of them mix things up and turn the DS into its still relatively novel “book” style configuration. But there just aren’t enough games, and the characters aren’t interesting enough to endure the repetitiveness brought on by that lack of variety.
