VladamirS.Jun 29, 2006Fun and simple, just what you need when you want some action on the go. Critics are picking on it's simplicity and repetitiveness of badguys, but it is just plain fun. Nice graphics on the DS too!

ClayJul 22, 2006It's kind of like Final Fight with pirates...except it's much more repetitive. If it wasn't a pirate-themed game, this would have got a 5 from me.

GemmaDec 28, 2006I thought this game was fun but very short I finished it in a couple of days but that might be coz I was up playing it all night.

Nov 8, 2020Yes the DS really wasn't the best console for movie adaptations but at least they were enough to entertain me as a child.

Nintendo PowerThree simple touch-controlled minigames add variety, but not enough to give a shine to this lackluster effort. [Aug 2006, p.87]

Actual play is a letdown. Moving between alleyways and tropical isles, you'll endlessly hack away at zombies, natives, vultures, villagers, and guards, each a carbon copy of the next. Sadly, such brain-dead enemies prove little challenge, overwhelming through sheer numbers, not ingenuity.
-
Sure there are tons of moves and combos to unlock, but the enemies don't require any of these earned skills, which sort of defeats the purpose of seeking them out.
