I HATE THIS GAME! I picked it up like, wow, a new first person shooter. I love first person shooters, but in this one, you don't even get a gun! I've tried everything, but no matter how I touch the puppy with the sylus, it's always happy! There is no way to kill it, so I can't even reach level two because I didin't a gun in level one. I heard this was a great game where you kill evil dogs, but you can't! I returned the game because I thought mine was defective. In my next copy, you didn't get a gun either! Nintendo, in your next first person shooter, make sure you get a gun! Expand

  1. Nintendogs captures the essence of puppydom in its adorable stars and genuine charm, but focuses so much on being a cutie that it forgets to be a game. DS owners thirsting for companionship will certainly find some here, although it’s really just a virtual pet without enough interesting gameplay enhancements.

The actual game design is amazing. These puppies look, sound, and act like the real thing.
  3. The AI, voice recognition (even with its occasional snags) and graphical technologies make it hard not to be impressed, and the overall sense of reward given for taking the time to really care for your dogs and raise them properly is certainly satisfying.
